Italy plans to cut its emissions by 13.64 million tons in four years

Italy’s environment ministry said on Wednesday that the nation has agreed to cut its CO2 emissions from sectors covered by the EU Environmental Trading Scheme by 13.64 million tons, down to 196 million tons per year in the next four years.
