Coca-Cola makes company’s UK carbon footprint public knowledge

Drinks company’s UK emissions equal that of 80, 000 households

The Coca-Cola System released a figure of 480,000 tons for its British carbon emissions in its 2006/2007 Corporate Responsibility Report, as well as addressing how the company plans to mitigate its environmental impact. Coca-Cola Great Britain’s carbon emissions equal the annual emissions of 80,000 UK households, and include CO2 from transportation and manufacturing of their several soft drink brands.
